I just did my first Alliance Battle tonight. With TS active, I was getting
constant lag. Once I shut it down the game ran fine. Wonder if it has
anything to do with your problem?

I'm going to fool with it and see if I can figure out what the problem is.
I have a USB headset now, don't remember having this problem before.

I have to agree, the lag problems and massive Err=007 have been happening since the begining of the tourney in Germany. Over the weekend alone we had quite a few guildies all kicked off at the same time. I also experienced some lag issues, but never did get the Err=007. Not sure if this is due to the last update, extra traffic or what, but I don't think it's an end user thing. Even as late as yesterday we were still getting Err=007, and this was in Tyria as well as Canthan.

I know its not my side because I can log right back in after the err7 and continue (or restart, I should say) whatever I was doing.

Sometimes I save myself by restarting my modem VERY quickly.

It might just be the connections needed for the Tourney, but when you think of it, how many people actually had to connect during it?... well.. it might just be the Tourney overall, but now that its over, the lag should be over as well (its not).

i've been getting quite a few err 7 lag discnonects this past week. never had a problem before except when the equipment at my local routing station was failing. last night, err 7 about ever 2 minutes. been getting huge lag spikes on missions too, nothing more fun than standing around w/ a 45 sec delay on your actions while watching everything happening around you in real time

i'm usually connected to the net w/ several apps at once, so i know it's not my net connection. on a side not, using TS causes gw to lag for me often, vent does not

haven't had much lag in the 9 months I play this game.
had maybe 5 err7, and 1 day when EVERYONE in towns was complaining about lag, a real server issue I think.

Occasional lag doesn't bother me. These rampant err7's that make accomplishing anything, or helping someone else impossible annoy me to no end. Anet not acknowledging the issue annoys me SO much more than the first two.

Like others have said, it started at the time of the last special weekend.

I will, unfortunately, give up trying to play GW if the issue is not fixed soon. Something I'd hate to do, but logging on and not being able to do anything besides sit in GW because you will err out as soon as you start something is not such a fun game. Makes me sad

Who WOULDN'T lag bother?

I have experienced more lag and error 7's in these past few days than I've ever had in the last several months of playing. I hope Anet gets these server issues resolved in time for the release of Nightfall. Don't think anyone would want to buy a new game and play it, knowing it will lag.

I wouldn't mind downtime for server maintenance if it'll get the job done.

If I am not so lagged that being there is pointless - GW ASSUMES that I am going to lag to the point of pointlessness (even if I am not) and just boots me... If I had nuts they would be bleeding I'm sure >_<
THREE error 7s today... THREEEEEEE!!!!! >_< And thats in the total of 1.5hrs I was on at various times.

That's me.
